I'm new to this site, but not to music. i just want to say, thanks for your intrest in my song(s). i have many more to come. the $ u spend here will enable me to make more music for you! So, with my thanks, and gratitude, i hope you enjoy, and tell your friends!!!
Written a long time ago. I think the title explains it all!
i wanted to write something that had movements in it like a piece of classical music. Hence, no real verse, chorus type of thing.
Wrote this MANY years ago, and just wanted to revisit old memories.
lyrics
Swallows that heal, when i'm in the air
where the sky meets the tip of the ground i'll be dancing
must be something in the air and it's me
my pretty wrinkle
my pretty wrinkle down, down here
put my head on a tiny square
put my heart on those lollipop eyes
and go for awhile
must be something in the air and it's me
my pretty wrinkle
my pretty wrinkle down, down here
echos of the nightengales
bring these tears to my eyes
even now that i'm alone
they fly to my window
and when my dear sang a song so precious
i'd take those words and make them my lover
now that those days are gone
i open my window and wait for those ghosts to come home
rain falls in my room
whispers "love" and i see mine
cause i could never be
anything as beautiful
kiss me goodnight
i might not ever make it home
kiss me goodnight
i might not ever make it home
tomorrow i'll be gone
tomorrow i'll be gone
kiss me goodbye
kiss me goodbye
i've closed my window
i've closed my window
i've closed my window
